About the role
We are seeking an Administrative Coordinator to provide day-to-day resident assistance and operational support at our affordable multifamily community in Albany, NY. In this role, you will support resident compliance and financial stability, and resident services while serving as a welcoming point of contact for residents.
Responsibilities
- Welcome new residents to their new apartment home.
- Assist residents with lease renewal related tasks including preparing documents, supporting lease signings, and financial paperwork.
- Foster a supportive residential environment by connecting residents with appropriate resources, coordinating events and programs, and maintaining necessary documentation and partnerships.
- Conduct outreach and build relationships with residents to identify needs, provide referrals to resources, and promote overall resident stability and well-being.
- Assist with resident engagement activities including event sign-ups, room set up, refreshments, and post event clean-up.
- Provide general administrative support to the property team as assigned.
- Available to work on-site, Monday-Friday 8:30AM - 5PM.
Requirements
- 1+ year of administrative, customer service, or front desk experience.
- Experience in multifamily or affordable housing experience a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfort learning property systems.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a passion for creating great living experiences.
- Strong customer service, verbal and written communication, and time-management skills.
- Current State Real Estate License (highly preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and navigate sensitive issues professionally.
- Demonstrates accountability and reliability by taking full ownership of projects and outcomes, prioritizing precision and attention to detail, and approaching challenges with grit, resilience, and proactive problem-solving, while continuously engaging in learning and development to enhance performance; fosters collaboration and a resident-centered environment, ensuring empathy, respect, and cross-functional success in all interactions.

Pay
Anticipated salary range: $26.44 - $28.85 / hour. This position is Non-Exempt, meaning eligible for overtime pay. Annual performance bonus may be available.
Schedule
Monday-Friday 8:30AM - 5PM, on-site.
