Hondros College of Nursing is seeking an Administrative Coordinator for the Independence Campus. This entry-level role offers the opportunity to support students, faculty, and staff while contributing to the college's mission.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a student, faculty, and staff resource and ambassador for the college
  • Provide professional, courteous, and timely front/reception desk customer service; refer individuals to other college support services as needed
  • Perform general office administrative duties, including filing, scanning documents, answering phones, responding to emails, scheduling appointments, processing book returns, issuing uniforms, and managing classrooms and campus-based spaces
  • Complete student payment processes, including taking payments, ledger corrections, and making bank deposits
  • Create and maintain student academic files, ensuring compliance with all requirements
  • Track and document student academic records
  • Execute student cancellation reporting
  • Partner with the Registrar’s Office to complete student file audits, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Record and maintain student attendance records
  • Coordinate and manage student IEP testing
  • Order and maintain office supplies and equipment
  • Participate in new student orientation activities
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • At least one year of experience in admissions, student services, or campus operations

  • Excellent knowledge of admissions/registration and student services processes
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of career development and job search processes
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Flexibility and ability to manage multiple tasks

  • Ability to maintain security of confidential student records

Pay

The estimated pay range for this role is $37,900.00 to $49,300.00. Starting pay is determined by factors such as job level, location, skill set, experience, training, and business needs.
