About the role
This fully remote position supports GFT’s Shared Services team as an Administrative Coordinator. You will interpret client contracts, ensure insurance compliance, and manage time-sensitive certificate requests while collaborating across internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Review and interpret client contracts to identify insurance requirements and compliance obligations.
- Issue insurance certificates aligned with client-specific contractual terms and conditions.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with insurance-related clauses and requirements within contracts.
- Manage a high volume of time-sensitive insurance certificate requests and contract reviews.
- Maintain accurate insurance documentation, records, and supporting files for audit and reference.
- Use spreadsheets and simple Excel formulas to track contract and insurance data.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to clarify contract terms and resolve insurance-related questions.
- Verify that all issued insurance certificates meet current contractual requirements and update as needed.
- Perform accurate and efficient data entry to support contract and insurance processes.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience demonstrating the ability to carry out the above technical and administrative functions.
- Experience reviewing contracts, insurance certificates, or compliance documentation preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for professional interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and basic Excel formulas.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a remote team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent related experience.
- Experience with contracts, insurance certificates, risk management, or compliance processes preferred.
- Database application skills; HRIS experience is a plus.
- Experience with document management systems or contract management software is a plus.
Pay
$55,000 – $59,000; salary dependent upon experience and geographic location.
