About the role
This fully remote role supports GFT’s Shared Services team as an Administrative Coordinator. You will be responsible for reviewing client contracts, issuing insurance certificates, and ensuring ongoing compliance with contractual insurance requirements in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Review and interpret client contracts to identify insurance requirements and compliance obligations.
- Issue insurance certificates that align with client-specific contractual terms and conditions.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with insurance-related clauses and requirements within contracts.
- Manage a high volume of time-sensitive insurance certificate requests and contract reviews.
- Maintain accurate insurance documentation, records, and supporting files for audit and reference purposes.
- Use spreadsheets to track contract and insurance data, applying simple Excel formulas to organize and analyze information.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to clarify contract terms and resolve insurance-related questions.
- Verify that all issued insurance certificates meet current contractual requirements and update as needed.
- Perform accurate and efficient data entry to support contract and insurance processes.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience demonstrating the ability to carry out the technical and administrative functions described above.
- Experience reviewing contracts, insurance certificates, or compliance documentation preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience working with spreadsheets and using basic Excel formulas to organize and maintain data.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a remote team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent related experience.
- Experience working with contracts, insurance certificates, risk management, or compliance processes.
- Database application skills; HRIS experience is a plus.
- Experience with document management systems or contract management software is a plus.
Pay
$50,000 – $56,000; salary dependent upon experience and geographic location.
