About the role

Responsibilities
- Provides high-level administrative support for an assigned Vice President, Physician Executive, Executive Director, Service Line Administrator and/or Chairperson.
- Ensures efficient handling of the communications and record keeping requirements of the office.
- Participates and coordinates in special projects and other activities.
- Compiles and analyzes information and statistics for identification of conditions worthy of management awareness.
- Acts as liaison for assigned leader.
- Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or passage of a high school equivalency exam.
- Progressive administrative support experience or experience performing duties relevant to the position.
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with information gathering and information distribution.
- Ability to perform complex tasks and prioritize multiple projects.
- Appropriate corporate decorum, tact, and social sensitivity are necessary for the position’s status.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
Physical Demands
- May need to move around intermittently during the day, including sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and ambulating.
- May need to remain still for extended periods, including sitting and standing.
- Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications.
- Ability to read job-related documents.
- Ability to use a computer.
