Administrative Clerk
About the role
The Administrative Clerk plays a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and support to visitors, employees, and leaders at the Taylorville, IL facility. This role provides general office and receptionist support through a variety of clerical activities and related tasks.
Responsibilities
- Answer the phone in a professional manner and direct calls to the correct offices
- Greet and assist visitors and connect them with the appropriate employee
- Help maintain workplace security by issuing, checking, and collecting badges and maintaining the visitor log
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail
- Complete data entry for Purchase Requisitions
- Scan credits, bills of landing, delivery tickets, and related documentation
- Book travel arrangements
- Maintain inventory of supplies and order as needed
- Maintain the filing system
- Auxiliary in planning and preparation of company events
- Auxiliary in support of the team with assigned project work
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2 years of experience as an Administrative Clerk or in a related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
Benefits
Expected total compensation for this role will be $17.86-$23.81 per hour depending upon job related knowledge, experience, and skills. Eligible for annual bonus. Workplace
- Working onsite role based in Taylorville, IL
- Exposure to a variety of extreme conditions including temperatures ranging from 40°F to 105°F
- Frequent sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, handling/fingering, reaching, standing for up to twelve hours per day, lifting up to 50 pounds, wearing personal protective equipment
Compensation
Expected total compensation for this role will be $17.86-$23.81 per hour depending upon job related knowledge, experience, and skills.
