Responsibilities
- Greets visitors, directs visitors appropriately; maintains the communication flow of the office.
- Prepares reports, memos, correspondence, meeting minutes, special projects, etc., for the Administrative team as requested.
- Reviews and edits all written materials.
- Maintains the Administrative teams appointment calendars.
- Answers the telephone in a professional manner; screens calls, takes messages, directs calls appropriately.
- Sorts, logs and distributes all incoming mail; identifies mail that needs immediate attention.
- Prepares financial reports; department activities, travel, business expenses, etc.
- Maintains an organized, efficient filing system.
- Records, prepares and distributes meeting minutes as requested.
- Orders supplies and printing weekly.
- Affords cost containment through appropriate ordering and conserving of supplies and equipment.
- Interacts professionally with all visitors, within the department/office and with other departments.
- Demonstrates the ability to be flexible and organize during stressful situations.
- Manages and operates equipment safely and correctly.
Requirements
- High School graduate.
- Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point.
- Works on multiple projects.
- Strong written and verbal communication, and organizational skills.
- Requires 3+ years experience providing administrative support.
- Associate’s Degree preferred.
Qualifications
- Manual: Little or no manual skills/motor coord & finger dexterity
- Occupational: Some occupational risk
- Physical Effort: Medium to Heavy effort. May exert up to 35 lbs. force
- Physical Environment: Some exposure to dirt, odors, noise, human waste, etc.
