About the role
The Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative, and Pain Medicine at Stanford University’s School of Medicine seeks an Administrative Associate 4 (AA4) to provide complex administrative or operational support with minimal supervision. This role serves as a key administrative partner to faculty leadership and multidisciplinary teams within the Pain Medicine Division, supporting clinical, research, and academic activities.
Responsibilities
- Manage complex calendars of the Division and Clinic Chief, and high-volume scheduling for senior faculty.
- Lead coordination of division meetings, research group meetings, and cross-institutional collaborations.
- Proactively track deliverables across research studies, grant cycles, and programmatic deadlines.
- Provide quality oversight to ensure consistency and efficiency across administrative functions.
- Function as a central coordination point across faculty, research staff, clinical operations, and external collaborators, managing competing priorities.
Qualifications
- High school diploma and six years of administrative experience, or combination of education and relevant experience.
- Advanced computer skills and demonstrated experience with office software and email applications.
- Prioritization, multi-tasking, and assignment of work to others.
- Initiative, ownership of projects, and sound judgment.
