Job Responsibilities
- Private Lesson Administration
- Schedule & coordinate all assigned private lessons and specialty groups
- Manage instructor requests, advanced bookings, day-of extensions, & next-day lesson reservations
- Orchestrate best match based on guest preferences & goals with instructor attributes
- Update and manage call center bookings
- Follow up with guests to confirm lesson details and expectations
- Monitor instructor schedules for accuracy and communicate updates as necessary
- Work directly with Assistant Managers to support instructor allocation and maximize lesson utilization
- Assist management teams with forecasting and evaluating staffing levels relative to business needs
- Track and facilitate assignments involving traveling instructors and visiting resort instructors
- Serve as a communication conduit between guests, instructors, supervisors, and managers
- Work with the PSS Recovery Team to update and collect failed lesson charges
- Guest Service & Sales
- Provide exceptional guest service through proactive interactions in person, by phone, and electronically
- Welcome guests and assist with private lesson inquiries, recommendations, and bookings
- Identify guest needs and recommend appropriate Ski & Ride School products to enhance their experience
- Conduct in-person and walk-up sales of private lesson products and related offerings
- Collaborate with Product Sales & Services teams and Call Center teams to maximize sales opportunities and conversion rates
- Support same-day and last-minute lesson sales while ensuring operational efficiency
- Build guest relationships that promote repeat business, guest loyalty, and positive word-of-mouth referrals
- Utilize discretion and managing sensitive information to support strong guest relationships
- Follow up with guests after their lesson experience to gather feedback and identify future sales opportunities
- Resolve guest concerns professionally and efficiently while maintaining a focus on guest satisfaction and business objectives
Job Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage guests, instructors, leadership teams, and support departments
- Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service while balancing operational priorities
- Ability to build rapport, identify guest needs, and confidently recommend products and services
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and frequent interruptions
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and reporting tools
- Ability to read, write, speak, and communicate professionally in English
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work weekends and holidays throughout the winter season
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
- Frequent phone usage, keyboarding, and manual dexterity required
- Ability to lift, bend, and squat as required
- Ability to quickly transition between office duties and outdoor guest interactions at lesson meeting locations
Preferred Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of Ski & Ride School products, services, locations, schedules, and offerings
- Extensive knowledge of Park City Mountain and Vail Resorts policies and procedures
- Strong familiarity with instructor scheduling and communication systems
- Experience using RTP, RPOS, or comparable point-of-sale and reservation systems
- Previous sales, hospitality, tourism, guest services, concierge, or customer experience experience
- Experience handling face-to-face customer interactions and achieving sales or service goals
