About the role

Assists the President of Northbridge University - Florida and DAVE School with vital support to the organization by managing a wide range of tasks, including scheduling, communication, and office management.

Responsibilities

  • Transcribe and compile complex documents, correspondence, and reports.
  • Work independently and with a supervisor to set up and revise forms and reports.
  • Proofread documents for accuracy and edit for correctness.
  • Facilitate the completion of documents by contacting the originator to address any problems or questions.
  • Develop new operator and machine/desktop publishing applications, and test software for routine and/or special projects.
  • Provide appropriate documentation of departmental procedures.

Requirements

  • Minimum Requirements: Associate Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Previous experience (2 years) in an administrative assistant role, preferably in a higher education institution, and/or college environment.
  • Considerable knowledge of office administration and working with management.
  • Demonstrated ability to be detail-oriented, adaptable, proactive, and take initiative.
  • Flexible schedules, including traveling to different campus locations.
  • Proficient knowledge of Excel - understanding of Google Sheets and Excel, including creating VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros, Formulas, and Functions.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: Associate Degree from an accredited institution. Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Basic computer literacy and proficiency with common office equipment.
