Administrative Assistant
About the role
Assists the President of Northbridge University - Florida and DAVE School with vital support to the organization by managing a wide range of tasks, including scheduling, communication, and office management.
Responsibilities
- Transcribe and compile complex documents, correspondence, and reports.
- Work independently and with a supervisor to set up and revise forms and reports.
- Proofread documents for accuracy and edit for correctness.
- Facilitate the completion of documents by contacting the originator to address any problems or questions.
- Develop new operator and machine/desktop publishing applications, and test software for routine and/or special projects.
- Provide appropriate documentation of departmental procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum Requirements: Associate Degree from an accredited institution.
- Previous experience (2 years) in an administrative assistant role, preferably in a higher education institution, and/or college environment.
- Considerable knowledge of office administration and working with management.
- Demonstrated ability to be detail-oriented, adaptable, proactive, and take initiative.
- Flexible schedules, including traveling to different campus locations.
- Proficient knowledge of Excel - understanding of Google Sheets and Excel, including creating VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros, Formulas, and Functions.
Qualifications
