Administrative Assistant Receptionist
About the role
Bridgeway Academy and Therapy Center is a Columbus, Ohio based nonprofit organization that offers an integrated approach to meet each child's needs through collaboration among professionals in music therapy, speech therapy, physical and occupational therapies, behavioral, and educational services, including home-based services primarily serving students with autism.
Responsibilities
- Answering basic questions about Bridgeway Academy and Therapy Center and re-directing callers or visitors to respective departments.
- Using an internal communication system to call for students who are late arriving/early release.
- Calling families or transportation service when late for pick up.
- Supporting Business Office staff with administrative tasks such as purchasing, distributing packages, scanning receipts, data entry, distribution of mail.
- Making client confirmation/cancellation calls and providing new client paperwork in person or via email.
- Ensuring the reception area is tidy.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED with prior experience working as a Receptionist in a medical office or childcare environment preferred.
Qualifications
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of all applicable pre-employment requirements, including reference checks, verification of education and employment history, and criminal background screening, as required by the position and applicable law.

Schedule
Two shifts available: 7:30 AM-4:00 PM and 9:30 AM-6:00 PM. Hours may be flexible and part-time options may be available.
