Responsibilities
- Greet and assist clients, visitors, and staff in a professional and courteous manner
- Schedule, confirm, and coordinate client appointments
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct communications appropriately
- Maintain accurate client records and update electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Process intake forms, billing collections, documentation, and other administrative paperwork as assigned
- Support providers and staff with administrative tasks and workflow coordination
- Complete all agency, program, and regulatory reports, data entry, correspondence, and required documentation by established deadlines
- Function as an integral member of the interdisciplinary treatment team and participate in team meetings and in-service trainings as scheduled
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and agency policies and procedures
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned in support of clinic operations
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Associate degree or certification in medical office administration preferred
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a healthcare, outpatient clinic, or medical office setting
- Bilingual in Spanish and English speaking preferred
