Administrative Assistant - Legal Services
About the role
Wespath's Legal Services team has an opportunity for an Administrative Assistant - Legal Services. The Administrative Assistant – Legal Services supports the Legal Services Department, which includes the company's legal, compliance and internal audit teams. This position will be responsible for performing, coordinating, and overseeing a full range of administrative duties for the Department, including providing direct administrative support to attorneys and compliance team leadership.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal administrative support to Department attorneys, including drafting and editing a variety of legal documents, such as correspondence, contracts, memoranda, and presentation decks. These tasks may require advanced Microsoft Office application skills.
- Maintain the process documentation library which includes checking documentation in and out and responding to questions regarding the related procedures.
- Complete monthly compliance reporting responsibilities.
- Assist in preparation of compliance and audit reports and other materials.
- Provide general administrative support to team members of the Legal Services Department, including maintenance of calendars, scheduling meetings, preparing expense reports, completing travel arrangements, and other similar administrative support.
- Provide back-up support to the Executive Legal Assistant.
Requirements
- High School degree or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of administrative support experience supporting multiple professionals.
- 2+ years in a corporate legal department or law firm.
- Advanced oral and written communication skills.
- Expert skills in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) and the ability to navigate between multiple applications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or associate's degree (preferred).
- Familiarity with legal and corporate documents, such as contracts, litigation files, minutes, and resolutions (preferred).

Pay
The compensation range for this position is $64,000 - $80,000 with a bonus opportunity and customary benefits. Final compensation will be set based on the hired applicant's qualifications (education, training, and/or experience related to this role), and as such, may fall outside the range shown.
