California/Leighton Courthouse Bureau: Administrative Services Division/Unit: LEAD (Law Enforcement Accountability Division Application deadline: September 12, 2026 Primary Function: Provide administrative support to ASAs in the LEAD (Law Enforcement Accountability Division) and Gun Crime Strategies unit along with all ASAs in the Special Prosecutions Bureau. Working Environment: Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Physical Requirements: Light Work: The position requires the ability to stand or walk frequently, often for extended periods. You may need to lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 20 pounds regularly, and occasionally heavier items. The job may also involve a significant amount of walking or standing relative to sedentary roles. Qualifications: Duties and Responsibilities: Prepare correspondence including, but not limited to, memorandum, letters, motions, police letters, witness letters, pen letters, etc.Process indictments in the CRIMES systemPrepare Felony Trial and Grand Jury subpoenasPrepare Orders for consensual overhears, Pen registers, and retention and reviewUpdating close memos in LERU SharePoint as memos are received back from ILSAAPSend ILSAAP documents via FedExEnter all new cases into special Prosecutions CL DatabasePrepare monthly and year end reportsSend and retrieve closed files to/from Warehouse using file systemRelieve Receptionist as neededCover shifts and/or assist with assignments within the BureauInteract regularly with State’s Attorney’s Office employees and personnel of outside agenciesMaintain confidentiality of information and systemsOnline/phone/mail complaints- manage the intake forms/complaints received by creating open folders, looking up case info (if any), rap sheets, arrest reports and any add'l info regarding the incidents/ complainant, communicating w/complainant regarding status of complaints, logging all info in LERU spreadsheet, closing complaints out and moving folders to 'Closed submissions'Law Enforcement Officer arrest log- inputting data from notification forms received from all SAO ASA'sregarding LEO arrests into spreadsheet, monitoring court dates and updating statuses through dispositionPerform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned Required: The candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required.
