Job Summary
Provides complex administrative support for faculty members of the Department of Pathology Division of Anatomic Pathology & Molecular Oncology.
Responsibilities
- Conducts work assignments of increasing complexity, under moderate supervision with some latitude for independent judgment.
- Manages calendars, coordinates meetings and conferences, maintains and orders office supplies.
- Works harmoniously with technical laboratory personnel to support daily clinical operations.
- Schedules, plans and coordinates meeting and catering.
- Requests pathology slides for conferences.
- Affords assistance with provider credentialing, manuscripts, and IRBs.
- Arranges and reimburses travel for faculty.
- Data entry of purchasing transactions and provides information of financial management reports.
- Collects, organizes and analyzes data for specialized reports.
- Affords assistance with inventory and maintenance requests of lab equipment (microscopes and accessories).
- Updates website profiles and curriculum vitae on University CV System.
- Purchases and reallocates funds to department accounts.
- Correspondence, assists with PowerPoint presentation preparation, and other projects necessary to support faculty and staff.
- Affords assistance with onboarding/termination of faculty and GME Trainees.
Qualifications
- Requires at least 1 year of related work experience.
- EQUIVALENCY STATEMENT: 1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience (Example: bachelor's degree = 4 years of directly related work experience).
