About the role

This multi-layered position supports Finance, Payroll, Human Resources, DOT Compliance, Legal, Labor Relations, and other departments at each market center location through various administrative duties and ad-hoc projects.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily direction and communication to employees to ensure functional duties are performed in a timely, efficient, and knowledgeable manner.
  • Coordinate and lead special projects.
  • Provide guidance to other employees based on extensive knowledge and experience to solve problems, answer questions, and research issues within the administrative function.
  • Recommend methods to improve operational processes, efficiency, and service to both internal and external customers.
  • Serve as a resource for other departments on matters pertaining to functional areas.
  • Support the processing of weekly payroll, including tracking time and attendance, reporting commissions, and other related payroll tasks in accordance with company policy and collective bargaining agreement(s).
  • Post notices from regional management and HR regarding Company Policy, payroll, HR, Benefits, and Compliance Practices.
  • Review and maintain the time and attendance system.
  • Implement new administrative procedures and forms as directed.
  • Support daily office functions by ordering supplies and managing the inventory process.
  • Generate POs and maintain a perpetual inventory ordering system, including ordering, receiving, and issuing product to the route daily.
  • Maintain the POS database, including writing POs and pulling in weekly sales and inventory results.

Job duties may change or new ones may be assigned without formal notice to meet commitments.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of work experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma required; Associate’s Degree in a related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service and administrative skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
