About the Role
UCF Advancement & Partnerships is seeking an Administrative Assistant I to aid in general administrative duties. This position is ideal for UCF or Valencia students or someone looking for a flexible work schedule.
Responsibilities
- Assists with mailings, meetings, and events.
- Performs secretarial and support tasks for staff by preparing correspondence, spreadsheets, presentations, and accounting reimbursements.
- Reviews and inputs information into the donor database.
- Delivers documents to the main campus.
- Participates as a backup to the front desk receptionist.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent and 0+ years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff and donors.
- Ability to type emails and use Microsoft administrative programs such as Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to complete forms in the proper format.
- Reliable transportation to travel between the Advancement & Partnerships office and supporting colleges.
Pay
Hourly rate: $15.66 to negotiable.
Schedule
- Part-time, 30-32 hours per week during UCF business hours (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM).
- Schedule will depend on candidate's availability.
Benefits
