About the role

The Administrative Support role at Springfield Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) will perform various administrative functions assigned in accordance with the office procedures of the clinic. This position supports managers and employees through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication, handling confidential and time-sensitive material.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general administrative tasks assigned in accordance with the office procedures of the clinic.
  • May include a combination of answering telephones, billing, typing or word processing, office machine operation, and filing.
  • Operate the front desk duties during peak hours or when primary staff in unavailable.
  • Sort, organize and maintain office records.
  • Absorb and assist with new patient enrollments as necessary.
  • Absorb and assist with various insurance/billing reports as necessary.
  • Might assist with patient drug testing procedures; and,
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • An associate’s degree is preferred.
  • No licenses, designations, or certifications are required.

Compensation

Compensation for roles at Springfield CTC varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, role, skill set, and level of experience. Springfield CTC provides a reasonable hourly range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Massachusetts as set forth below.

Essential Functions

  • Support managers and employees through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication.
  • Responsible for confidential and time sensitive material.
  • Effectively communicate via phone and email ensuring that all duties are completed accurately, delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.
  • Attend meetings and take accurate minutes.
  • May responsible for accurate and timely physician credentialing.
  • May direct and lead the work of others.
  • May manage and coordinate administrative programs and office activities.
  • Create spreadsheets, manage databases and prepare presentations, reports and documents as needed.
  • Answer telephones and take messages or transfer calls.
  • May cover the reception desk when required.
  • Calendar management, schedule appointments, update calendars and arrange staff meetings.

Other Functions

  • Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
