About the role

The Administrative Assistant (HR) plays a crucial role within the Human Resources Business Partners & Resourcing department. They support recruiting efforts and ensure smooth operations behind the scenes.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and run system generated reports integral to the effective functioning of the department, including vacancy and recruitment related reports and miscellaneous expense reports.
  • Post and monitor job openings on various job boards, schedule interviews, coordinate and monitor education and employment verifications, request background checks, etc.
  • Prepare onboarding materials for new hire orientation sessions and complete I9 forms.
  • Provide ongoing input on process improvements and automation recommendations.
  • Assist, as assigned, with system testing, procedure review and updates, during pre/post-implementation of new HCM system.
  • Filer and maintain recruitment and personnel files.
  • Assist with other duties, projects and responsibilities as requested.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary general business courses or participation in business training program preferred.
  • Administrative office experience required; corporate environment strongly preferred.
  • Experience completing multiple assignments with competing due dates required.
  • Microsoft suite of products which includes Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams required.
  • Experience with Power Point, SharePoint and Human Resources systems (HCM / ATS) preferred.

  • Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Customer-focused, with strong communication skills, interpersonal skills and cooperative attitude.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and the ability to work as a member of a team.

Pay

Commencement date: May 15, 2026

Schedule

8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (Overtime as required)
