Description
AppleGate Recovery is seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant to support the Treatment Center Director with a variety of administrative and clerical tasks.
- Manage various administrative tasks: greeting patients, collecting money, making appointments, conducting follow-up calls, and reconciling money daily.
- Perform clerical tasks: answering phones, forwarding calls, taking messages, reporting for internal or external purposes, and filing documents.
- Partner with clinic staff: covering front desk, scheduling and assisting with intakes, keeping patient medical records up-to-date in the computer system, updating/revising forms, and verifying insurance eligibility.
- Support corporate activities: assisting with HR functions and paperwork, implementing marketing plans, and orienting new staff members.
- Contribute to organizational and departmental goals by demonstrating behavior that aligns with the company's mission and fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and effective communication.
- Interact positively and motivate others to support the company's mission.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with at least 2 years of office experience.
- Excellent customer service and professional public presentation skills, including telephone etiquette.
- Proficiency in basic PC skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to maintain business and clinical files systematically and orderedly.
- Strong interpersonal skills promoting interdisciplinary collaboration and effective communication.
- Self-directed with the ability to work independently without constant supervision.
- Flexible and cooperative in fulfilling all obligations.
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions, establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, program management, medical staff, counselors, and peers.
- Ability to maintain routine records and communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to work with a diverse population and exhibit excellent customer service skills.
- Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check required.
