About the role
As an office assistant you're at the heart of your team's business operations and activities and the soul that keeps your team moving forward.
Responsibilities
- Talk with customers over the phone in a heavily customer-focused role.
- Type reports, memos, letters and other documents using relevant computer software.
- Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies and maintaining records management database systems.
- File and retrieve documents, records and reports.
- Research, prioritize, and follow up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the company, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature.
- Determine appropriate course of action, referral, or response to field staff and customers.
- Organize and schedule meetings and appointments.
- Develop and update administrative systems to make them more efficient.
- Answer phone calls and direct calls to appropriate parties or take messages.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 3+ years' experience in customer service, administrative or project management.
- Advanced customer service skill set.
- Ability to multi-task within fast-paced work environment.
- Strong organizational skills.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
- Expert level in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Google Docs, Dropbox.

Monday–Friday; 8:00 am–4:30 pm.
