Responsibilities
- Schedules meetings with clients and answers phone calls professionally and promptly.
- Assists the MBDA Business Center Marketing Team in promoting the Illinois MBDA Business Center programs and services within the prescribed service area.
- Answers phone calls and directs people on how to become clients
- Manages the IL MBDA email inbox and events calendar.
- Manages calendars for the Project Director and President.
- Congducts intake of new clients to ensure forms are signed and clients are directed to the next step, per our processes
- Keeps the website updated with images, photos and posts about upcoming and past events.
- And other duties as required.
Education and Skills Required
- Education: High School Diploma required, Associate Degree or Higher Preferred or equivalent work experience and education
- Spanish speakers are preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Workspace and, WordPress
- Attention to detail to ensure tasks are completed thoroughly and correctly.
- Follow-up and follow-through are a priority.

- This is a full-time position. Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Must be flexible and some in-state travel is required.
