This long-term contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys creating order, communicating clearly, and keeping administrative tasks on track. The role will serve as a key point of contact for incoming calls, front-desk activity, and routine clerical support while helping the team maintain accurate records and efficient workflows.
Responsibilities
- Manage front-desk coverage by greeting visitors, directing inquiries, and creating a welcoming first impression for the office.
- Handle incoming phone calls promptly, route messages to the appropriate team members, and respond to routine questions with accuracy and courtesy.
- Perform a range of administrative support duties, including filing, document preparation, scheduling assistance, and general office coordination.
- Enter and update information in company systems with a high level of accuracy to help maintain complete and reliable records.
- Support day-to-day office operations by organizing materials, tracking routine tasks, and helping ensure administrative processes run smoothly.
- Maintain orderly electronic and paper files so important information can be retrieved quickly when needed.
- Assist with receptionist-related activities, including monitoring shared spaces and helping visitors or staff with basic administrative needs.
Requirements
- Experience providing administrative support in an office or business setting.
- Ability to manage inbound calls effectively and communicate clearly with internal and external contacts.
- Strong data entry skills with careful attention to detail and accuracy.
- Comfortable performing receptionist and front-desk responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with standard administrative tasks such as filing, record maintenance, and general office coordination.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
- Dependable work style and a detail-oriented approach to customer service and office communication.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
