Administrative Assistant
Responsibilities
- Manage import-related paperwork and monitor shipment activity to help keep daily operations on schedule.
- Update tracking logs, status reports, and internal records with accurate and timely information.
- Work closely with suppliers, transportation partners, and internal departments to share updates and resolve routine issues.
- Examine invoices, packing documentation, and shipping records to confirm completeness and accuracy.
- Perform data entry tasks, prepare basic reports, and organize digital and physical files for easy access.
- Provide administrative support for import operations, including document handling, coordination, and follow-up on outstanding items.
- Help maintain orderly office processes by prioritizing multiple assignments and meeting established deadlines.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in administrative support or a related coordination role.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the broader Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail when handling records and documentation.
- Able to manage several priorities effectively in a fast-paced work environment.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for working with internal and external contacts.
- Experience with data entry and document management tasks.
- Exposure to import, export, or logistics documentation is preferred but not required.
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to maintain a positive approach in day-to-day work.
