About the role
We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant with 4+ years of strong administrative experience to support senior leadership and help ensure smooth day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate has experience supporting C-level executives, excels at calendar scheduling, and can manage travel arrangements and coordination with a high level of professionalism. This role requires strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, solid technical aptitude, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-level administrative support to executives

- Prepare documents, reports, and correspondence using Microsoft Office Suite

Qualifications
We are looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support a busy non-profit team in Maryland. This is a Contract position suited for someone who can stay organized in a fast-moving environment while delivering attentive service to internal and external contacts. The ideal candidate is proactive, communicates clearly, and can manage administrative tasks with accuracy and minimal supervision.
- Provide day-to-day administrative support by managing office tasks in an efficient and organized manner.
- Respond to inbound and outbound calls, emails, and general inquiries with care and strong customer support.
- Enter, update, and maintain data accurately across spreadsheets and internal records.
- Organize, file, and retrieve documents to ensure records remain current and easy to access.
- Coverage for routine administrative workflows during team member absences.
- Support front desk and general office functions, including scheduling, document handling, and day-to-day administrative coordination.
- Help establish and improve filing systems to keep physical and digital records structured, accessible, and easy to manage.
- Absorb and complete assigned tasks independently while meeting deadlines and quality expectations.
