Your Role
We’re looking for a sharp, upbeat Executive/Audit Assistant who brings both skill and positive energy to the table. If you love being the organized powerhouse behind a high-performing team and you’re excited to mix administrative excellence with real audit and accounting experience this role will keep you engaged and growing.
What Will You Do
- Maintain and oversee Audit Archiving and Document Management.
- Aid with DGA election processes and other audit administrative projects as needed.
- Perform bill preparation with accuracy and precision.
- Prepare Status Reports with great attention to detail in a timely manner.
- Coverage of Audit Executive Assistants on an as needed basis.
- Ability to set up fill in forms and other higher-level applications skills.
- Prepare and format letters and report
- Proofreading
- Prepare and send engagement letters and supporting documentation to new clients.
- Attend to phone calls from clients and update the partner with the call list.
- Schedule executive meetings, including lunches and dinners.
- Get lunch for partner or partner meetings as needed.
- Other light errands as needed – FedEx, Post Office
- Greet and receive visitors.
- Prepare correspondence to clients or outside audit contacts.
- Cookordination and arrangement of dial-in and conference calls.
- Cookordination, assembly, and delivery of audit reports and meeting packages.
- Schedule, book airfare, hotel, dining reservations, itinerary preparation, etc.
- Review partner credit card statements for accuracy, process payments, and submit expense reimbursements in a timely manner.
- Filing and organization of client documents.
- Scanning documents into the firm document management system
- Strict confidentiality is required.
- Other related duties as assigned.
What Do You Need to Succeed
- High school diploma required.
- Competency in Microsoft Applications including Word, Excel and Power Point; Experience with Access is a plus.
- Ability to prepare and format reports in both Excel and Word with exceptional proof-reading skills.
- Attention to detail and high organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must.
- Strong problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking abilities.
- Self-motivated with excellent organization skills
- Friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to work well with a team and pitch in when needed
What will set you apart
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business-related field preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Standing, walking, crouching, and regular lifting up to 15 pounds
- Frequent use of hands and reaching with hands and arms
- Regularly talking, hearing, seeing, and sitting
- Moderate to loud noise level
- Risk of electrical shock
Salary Range
The salary range for this role is $65,000 - $80,000 and represents the firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, and location.
