The Tennessee Office of the Post-Conviction Defender is accepting applications for an Administrative Assistant opening. All levels of experience will be considered. Applications received by July 29, 2026, will receive priority consideration. The position will remain open until filled.
About the role
- Share receptionist responsibilities, including client communications
- Process documents by scanning, copying, and saving in a document management system
- Manage and maintain the agency’s library book inventory
- Maintain office supplies and ensure office equipment is working properly
- Make and manage travel arrangements for the agency
- Provide other administrative assistance as needed
Responsibilities
- Human resources and fiscal services including managing onboarding, timekeeping, maintaining personnel files, entering vouchers for payment in the state accounting system and attending various state human resources and fiscal/accounting training meetings

- Some ability to work remotely
