About the role
The Administrative Assistant performs duties that provide office services by implementing administrative systems, procedures, and policies to ensure effective and efficient operation. The position requires a strategic partnership with the Project Management, Operations, and Preconstruction/Estimating teams to complete administrative tasks as they arise. The Administrative Assistant must be a flexible team player with strong communication and client service skills.
Responsibilities
- Provides administrative and clerical support to the team
- Answer incoming calls and respond according to protocol
- Correspond with clients via phone and e-mail communication
- Assist with budgets and financing as needed
- Help prepare meeting agendas and presentations
- Manage calendar and schedule appointments
- Arrange travel plans and itineraries
- Assist with the preparation of expense reports in accordance with Accounts Payable’s policies and procedures
- Maintain office supply stock
- Conduct themselves in accordance with our Guiding Principles and exhibit attributes matching the Way We Work
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Three years of administrative/secretarial experience

- Computer knowledge and efficiency, including Microsoft Office products
- Ability to work constructively independently

Working Conditions
- Ability to physically stand, bend, sit for long periods, and squat throughout the day

- Use hands to type, handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls
- Occasionally lift, pull, or move up to 25 lbs
- Occasional travel required, primarily in the metropolitan area but sometimes domestically (must have a valid Driver’s License)
