Administrative Assistant
About the Role
We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our Savannah office. You are passionate about customer service to our internal team; detail-oriented; efficient; devoted to quality output; able to work independently, as well as in a team environment. You possess the organizational skills to prioritize tasks and handle multiple deadlines, and have excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Provides general office support with a variety of clerical and related tasks
- Answers incoming calls on a multiple-line phone system and directs calls accordingly
- Takes and retrieves messages for various team members
- Provides callers with information, such as address, directors, fax numbers, website, or other related information
- Greets and directs visitors to the firm
- Schedules meetings and conference rooms
- May arrange appointments for various team members and updates appointment calendars
- Assists with other related administrative duties such as composing and editing correspondence, copying, faxing, filing, and electronic filing
- Maintains safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
Requirements
- 3+ years of practical experience with administrative support in a large office setting
- Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree
Skills
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Extremely detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Able to handle multiple phone lines
- A positive attitude with daily interaction with various levels of employees in multi-city offices
