Administrative Assistant
DRS RADA Technologies, a subsidiary of Leonardo DRS, is focused on proprietary radar solutions and legacy avionics systems supporting the defense industry globally. The company is a global pioneer of AESA tactical radars for active military protection, counter-drone applications, critical infrastructure protection, and border surveillance.
About the role
We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to provide essential support to management, departmental operations, employees, and visitors. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys coordinating schedules, solving day-to-day administrative challenges, and creating a welcoming, professional experience for internal and external customers.
Responsibilities
- Greet visitors, maintain a professional reception area, and direct individuals to the appropriate destination.
- Maintain the visitor sign-in log and update visitor boards, as needed.
- Manage calendars, coordinate meetings, arrange video teleconferences, and support conference room scheduling.
- Coordinate meeting logistics, including room reservations, presentation materials, and other support requirements.
- Monitor, maintain, and order breakroom supplies—including coffee, tea, beverages, paper goods, plates, utensils, and related items—to support daily operations and meetings.
- Arrange travel, prepare expense reports, process reimbursements, and maintain related documentation.
- Maintain office and administrative supply inventory; coordinate replenishment as needed.
- Prepare routine reports, meeting agendas, correspondence, charts, presentations, and other business materials.
- Support departmental projects and contribute to the achievement of organizational objectives.
- Uphold and reinforce the organization’s mission, values, and culture.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Two or more years of progressively responsible administrative, reception, or office-support experience.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Sound judgment and the ability to work independently under normal supervision.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
- A collaborative, customer-focused approach and the ability to interact professionally with visitors, employees, management, and external contacts.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Pay
The salary range for this position is $22.67/hour–$29.47/hour. This range reflects the good faith estimate of pay the employer is willing to offer at the time of posting. Several factors can influence the pay scale, including but not limited to: Federal contract labor categories and contract wage rates, collective bargaining agreements, geographic location, business considerations, scope and responsibilities of the position, local or other applicable market conditions, and internal equity. Other factors include the candidate’s qualifications such as prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education/training, and certifications.
In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for annual performance-based bonuses, equity awards, and overtime pay (for non-exempt employees as applicable).
