About the Role
We are seeking a temporary Senior Administrative Assistant to support projects, programs, and other departmental tasks for a major Oil and Gas client.
Responsibilities
- Schedule appointments and make travel arrangements
- Complete expense reports
- Provide meeting support, including faxing, copying, and maintaining supplies
- Handle record-keeping and mail distribution
- Receive and screen telephone calls and visitors
- Manage customer and vendor contacts
- Assist in preparation of slide presentations and database updates
- Cover the main switchboard as required
Overtime may be required on an as-needed basis.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience (ten years total office experience, including three years supporting executive-level managers)
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite software
- Knowledge of Windows-based electronic mail and data communications
- Strong mathematical aptitude with the ability to perform complex calculations and analyze numerical data
- Ability to work independently and prioritize workloads
- High attention to detail and strong grammar and proofreading skills
- Reliable team player with good organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with DoD travel regulations, including Joint Travel Regulations (JTR), Defense Travel System (DTS), and GSA per diem rates
- Proficiency in PeopleSoft and experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
- Knowledge of web-based applications and conferencing tools
