About the role
The Administrative Assistant provides visible and active leadership in delivering excellent safety results. They participate in the facilities safety observation program, manage hourly work schedules/payroll practices and attendance reporting, and provide clerical support as needed.
Responsibilities
- Manage hourly work schedules/payroll practices and attendance reporting
- Supports meetings by ordering meals, coordinating meeting locations, and tracking equipment
- Arranges for company business lunches on and off-site
- Makes travel arrangements for managers and staff
- Captures and coordinates records retention for the department
- Coordinates SharePoint maintenance for the department
- Assists in managing general building maintenance by coordinating with maintenance and housekeeping
- Orders and maintains office supplies
- Enters purchase requisitions and generates check requests when needed
- Updates procedures and policies as requested
- Performs any other duties related to the position of administrative assistant as directed by the managers or requested by the staff
Requirements
- Minimum of three (3) years administrative assistant experience required, 5+ years of experience preferred
- Experience with payroll systems and SAP preferred
- Experience managing SharePoint preferred
- Must have strong computer experience using Microsoft Office and Excel as well as experience using reporting database systems
- Experience working in a manufacturing/industrial environment is preferred

Skills
