About the role
IEM is seeking a Full Time Administrative Assistant to support the IEM team in a general administrative role within an office setting. The ideal candidate will live within a commutable distance to Port Richey, FL.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate all aspects of office administration, including administrative support such as telephone support, creation of general correspondence, typing, filing, mailing (UPS & FedEx), scheduling, making copies, scanning, and other administrative duties.
- Pull documentation needed for contract requirements.
- Data entry for invoicing and assist with reviewing of reports.
Requirements
- Experience: One (1) year of experience in an administrative or office management role, preferably with a public agency or assisting grant programs. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Education: High school diploma. An equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that demonstrates the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered.
- Knowledge: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong computer skills. Knowledge of corporate level office practices and comfort with the corporate and customer environment. Experience working in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently and multitask.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of federally funded grant programs such as CDBG/CDBG-DR and FEMA HMGP.
- Knowledge of construction, including inspection reports.
- Knowledge of various database and program management tools such as SmartSheets, Power BI, SharePoint, and other Microsoft Office Suite products.
