Administrative Assistant

Human Touch Home Health is seeking an organized, professional, and customer-focused Administrative Assistant to join our Richmond, Virginia office. This is a full-time, in-office position supporting our clinical team, leadership, patients, and referral partners.

You're the first voice our patients hear, the first smile visitors see, and the person who helps keep everything moving behind the scenes. Your organization, professionalism, and attention to detail help ensure our clinicians can focus on providing exceptional patient care. Every phone call answered, every document processed, every patient assisted—every detail matters.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients, visitors, and referral partners with professionalism and warmth
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls
• Schedule appointments and assist with daily office operations
• Prepare, scan, file, and maintain patient and employee records
• Assist with onboarding paperwork and administrative support for new hires
• Order office supplies and maintain an organized office environment
• Support leadership with reports, correspondence, and special projects
• Coordinate communication between clinicians, patients, physicians, and office staff
• Ensure confidential information is handled in accordance with HIPAA guidelines

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Administrative or Office Experience
• Healthcare or Home Health Experience Preferred but Not Required

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
