About the role
As an Administrative Assistant, you will manage complex schedules, coordinate high-level meetings, and handle confidential information with the utmost discretion. Responsibilities
- Provide secretarial support to department personnel, including typing, composing, and proofreading correspondence, indexing, and filing documents.
- Develop PowerPoint presentations and assist with policy and procedure development/revision.
- Ensure adequacy of office supplies and equipment.
- Answer inquiries or refer callers/visitors to appropriate individuals.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, travel arrangements, and submit expense reports for business expenditures.
- Type and distribute meeting minutes as needed.
- Compile reports from data and existing records.
- File pertinent contract support materials.
- Develop and implement office procedures related to coordination of interoffice communications.
- Maintain strict confidentiality.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Minimum 3-7 years of administrative assistance experience.
- Working knowledge of all Microsoft applications including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Visio.
- Ability to make calculations, balance and reconcile figures, and make changes accurately.
- Experience with Concur expense management system preferred.
- Skilled communicator in verbal and written form.
