About the role

Temporary full-time, on-site position in Gold Beach, OR. This role provides high-level administrative support in a fast-paced environment, handling varied and moderate-to-complex tasks with a focus on technical ability, organization, and communication. Discretion and confidentiality are essential.

Schedule

Shift schedule: 5x8s (five 8-hour shifts per week).

Pay

Compensation range: $24.81 - $37.53 per hour, based on experience (entry-level through 15+ years). Additional differentials may apply for:

  • Licensed Positions:
    • NOC Shift (7:00 PM–7:00 AM): +$3.50/hour
    • Weekend Shift (12:00 AM Saturday–11:59 PM Sunday): +$3.00/hour
  • Non-Licensed Positions:
    • NOC Shift (7:00 PM–7:00 AM): +$3.00/hour
    • Weekend Shift (12:00 AM Saturday–11:59 PM Sunday): +$2.00/hour

Responsibilities

  • Support contract record-keeping, including database maintenance, tracking renewals, expirations, clauses, and terminations while complying with state record retention laws.
  • Administer policy management software (MCN), housing current Network policies, forms, and documents; assist staff with MCN usage and review policies for compliance with CHN’s Document Control Plan.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements (flights, ground transportation, accommodations) for Admin staff and employment candidates.
  • Track and replenish supplies for Administration & Fiscal Departments using Premier online software.
  • Set up Board meetings, ensure materials are available, prepare draft minutes templates, review/edit draft minutes, and serve as back-up in the Board Clerk’s absence.
  • Coordinate Network meetings and community/internal events, including procuring space, arranging equipment, and ordering food/beverages.
  • Maintain and update filing systems, retrieving information as needed.
  • Manage conference room schedules, travel staff end dates, and other calendars.
  • Reconcile directors’ and CEO’s credit card transactions, compare invoices to receipts, and enter charges into accounting forms.
  • Draft and design CHN’s monthly newsletter (adhering to media guidelines), collaborate with departments for content, and assist with other marketing tasks (e.g., poster/brochure design, social media, stocking materials).
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support Network needs, aligned with Curry Health Network’s Mission, Vision, and Shared Values.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of administrative experience required; medical setting experience preferred.
  • Experience preparing accurate meeting minutes (including motions, decisions, and action items) and familiarity with Board or formal governing-body meetings highly preferred.

Skills

  • Advanced computer skills: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Publisher; Adobe software; web-based applications; ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Preferred: Photo editing and graphic design software (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Strong research skills to compile data and prepare reports.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with a demonstrated attention to detail and high accuracy.
  • Ability to problem-solve, react quickly, and work resourcefully in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team-oriented yet capable of independent work; maintains composure in challenging situations.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and outstanding customer service (internally and externally).

Physical Requirements

  • Primarily sedentary role: up to 2/3 or more of the time spent sitting, using hands, talking, or hearing.
  • Up to 1/3 of the time: standing, walking, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
  • Lifting requirements: up to 10 pounds most of the time; up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Vision requirements: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Repetitive motions: 1–2 hours/day grasping (firm/heavy), 3–4 hours/day grasping (simple/light), 5–6 hours/day repetitive hand use/fine dexterity.
  • Work environment: quiet to moderate noise; ability to hear instructions.
  • No exposure to extreme conditions (e.g., wet/humid, moving mechanical parts, fumes, toxic chemicals, outdoor weather, extreme temperatures, electrical shock, radiation, or vibration).
