About the role

The New York City EAP Office Assistant position supports the New York City Employee Assistance Program (EAP). The EAP provides confidential support to NYC employees and their families, focusing on mental, emotional, and social well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Answering calls, handling messages, and managing client communications
  • Maintaining a respectful, caring environment for all clients and visitors
  • Clerical duties including chart maintenance, copying, faxing, filing, and scanning
  • Scheduling appointments, meetings, and training sessions
  • Maintaining a daily screening/consultation log and generating monthly reports
  • Managing supplies and inventory for GHI authorization cases

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent with at least 3 years of relevant community work experience
  • Preferred skills in Microsoft Office programs, previous office experience, and administrative writing skills

Pay

$44,545.00 – $51,227.00 annually

Schedule

Monday through Thursday: 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
