About the role

Cayuga-Onondaga BOCES is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant. The successful candidate will provide high-level administrative support and help ensure the smooth operation of department functions.

Responsibilities

  • Scheduling and coordinating meetings and professional development events
  • Preparing reports and correspondence
  • Maintaining records and personnel files
  • Managing budgets and purchasing processes
  • Verifying payroll and attendance records
  • Assisting with departmental communications
  • Data collection and analysis
  • Working with electronic systems
  • Supporting special projects

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and one (1) year of administrative or supervisory experience, or
  • Associate’s degree and three (3) years of experience, or
  • High school diploma and five (5) years of relevant experience, or
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience.

Qualifications
