Responsibilities
- Provides administrative, secretarial, and clerical support for one or more departments or administrative units under close supervision.
- May support multiple managers and/or professional staff.
- Performs entry-level secretarial and clerical duties requiring limited experience and minimal knowledge of organizational policies and practices.
- Maintains inventory of office and kitchen supplies.
- Sets up and maintains all office files.
- Answers routine correspondence and routes mail to the appropriate persons.
- Composes, prepares, edits, and proofreads letters, reports, and other correspondence.
- Screens telephone calls and visitors; resolves routine inquiries.
- Makes appointments, travel arrangements, meeting arrangements, and coordinates activities between departments and outside parties.
- Completes petty cash reconciliation, accounts receivable, and related financial bookkeeping reports.
- Uses software packages for word processing and spreadsheets.
- Works with third-party vendors.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum Education: High school degree.
- 1–3 years of administrative experience.
Pay
The estimated starting compensation range is $31,096 – $67,496. The actual pay offered may be higher or lower based on background, skills, experience, and work location. The company complies with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
