About the Role
This position reports to the Operations Manager and plays a key role in maintaining accurate production records, resolving discrepancies, and supporting operational workflows.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accuracy of SAP Production entries by communicating with staff to ensure proper workflow.
- Audit SAP entries for discrepancies and conduct daily investigations and corrections of COGI errors, including a weekly review with staff.
- Perform daily reconciliation of production tracking for completeness and accuracy, collaborating with Engineers and FLLs to resolve issues.
- Enter and escalate business-critical Remedy tickets to address system error issues.
- Conduct monthly reviews of tank balances and weekly material usage variance, working with staff to resolve outstanding issues.
- Work with Operators to resolve SAP-related issues.
- Develop, review, and update training aids, work instructions, and documentation for operators, FLLs, and area staff.
- Collaborate with HR and the Training department for onboarding, training, and establishing security credentials for new employees.
- Attend mandatory Ashland safety training courses.
- Maintain the Area archive system.
- Prepare monthly credit card expense reports.
Requirements
- High proficiency in computer applications, including email, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of SAP and accounting practices.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to multi-task effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities.
- Daily interaction with various departments supporting production and operations.
- Proficiency in Excel, including simple formulas (e.g., VLOOKUP, SUMIF) and pivot table functions.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of administrative experience.
- Willingness to work some weekends and holidays as required.
