Essential Job Functions
- Meets and greets clients and visitors, answers multi-line switchboard, forwards calls, takes and delivers messages, checks in clients, collects payment, documents payment, notifies clinicians when clients arrive, reconciles cash drawer, schedules client appointments, copies, sorts, and delivers mail, sends and receives/facilitates delivery of faxes.
- Enters client data into electronic information systems and program-specific databases, provides medical records support as needed.
- Filings and maintains correspondence, records, reports, and other documents related to site operations.
- Performs administrative functions such as typing, data entry, requisitioning, taking minutes of meetings, running reports, assessing report validity, correcting inaccuracies, coordinating IT functions, participating in daily deposit process, monitoring inventory, calling in prescriptions, coordinating lab appointments, processing lab results, acting as liaison with Properties department, and acting as Infection Prevention Representative.
Education
- High School or GED required.
- Completion of up to 18 months’ business school, beyond high school preferred.
Experience
- Three to four years’ experience working in office settings and performing various clerical or administrative tasks.
Physical Demands
- No unusual physical demands.
- Occasional exposure to office chemicals or continual use of a video display terminal.
Skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
Work Hours
Second shift (3 pm - 11 pm)
