About the role
This position provides the opportunity to provide administrative support to the Director's Office and the Bureau of Workforce Development Administration (BWDA) by coordinating day-to-day activities and supporting program delivery. The role assists with special projects, supports meetings and communications, and performs liaison and public relations functions.
Responsibilities
- Research and analyze administrative operations
- Prepare reports and recommendations
- Develop work standards
- Create documents and training materials for use by Bureau staff, the Department, and partner agencies
- Provide assistance with daily office operations and manage routine administrative tasks
- Arrange schedules, prepare materials, and document discussions to support organized meetings
- Draft and review written materials for internal and external audiences
- Coordinate logistics and prepare materials for training sessions and presentations
- Maintain files, documents, and centralized records for accurate and accessible information
Qualifications
Such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four year college or university; or any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional requirements
- This position requires federally compliant identification such as a U.S. Passport, REAL ID, or Military ID at the time of conditional job offer
- You must meet the PA residency requirement
- You must be able to perform essential job functions
Schedule
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position
