Administrative Assistant 1
About the role
The Department of Drug and Alcohol Program’s Training Section is seeking an Administrative Assistant 1 to support statewide training efforts that strengthen services for substance use disorder professionals. This role involves organizing surveys, preparing reports, coordinating course materials, and assisting with statewide training processes.
Responsibilities
- Survey Support: Disseminate survey tools, collect responses, and organize data for reporting
- Course Materials: Maintain course catalogs and files to ensure training resources remain current
- Instructor Review: Examine instructor credentials and prepare required documents for contracting
- Audit Coordination: Manage audit schedules, track results, and support corrective actions
- LMS Assistance: Serve as a point of contact for Learning Management System inquiries and provide user support
- Training Logistics: Arrange venues, materials, equipment, and supplies for in-person training sessions
Requirements
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four year college or university or any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements: You must meet the PA residency requirement.

Work Schedule and Additional Information
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch
- You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, two days a week in the office and for special events
- The ability to telework is subject to change at any time
