About the role
This is a full-time, full-benefit eligible position located in Lowndes County, GA. The Georgia Department of Public Health is the lead agency entrusted by the people of Georgia to protect lives and promote healthy lifestyles in diverse communities statewide. We are committed to preventing disease, injury, and disability; promoting health and well-being; and preparing the State of Georgia for responding to disasters.
Responsibilities
- Performs a variety of general secretarial, clerical, and administrative support functions/processes or a few specialized or essential clerical functions in support of a unit or office and related personnel.
- May enter data and/or process documents and records.
- Operates standard office equipment.
- Work is performed under the close supervision of a clerical or administrative supervisor.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED.
- Ability to perform basic office functions and computer-related duties.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual in Spanish.
