Adjunct Professor - General Sonography
Job Responsibilities
This is an adjunct professor position for the General Sonography Program. The faculty member functions under the direct supervision of the Corporate and Continuing Education (CCE) Sonography Program Director. We are looking for professors to teach a variety of courses - including scan lab and lecture courses for: abdominal US, OB/GYN, and small parts ultrasound. Professor is responsible for preparing syllabus and lesson plans, preparing practicum and/or written exams, grading, and other administrative tasks associated with teaching. Must be organized, prepared, and student-centered to meet the standards of the college.
Requirements
- Board-registered in Abdomen and OBGYN
- Minimum of two years sonography working experience
- Driver’s license required
- Preferred RVT board certification
- Previous instructor or clinical teaching experience preferred
