About the role

The person will teach a first lab course on electric circuits, EECE2015.

Responsibilities

  • Attend all lab sessions
  • Give a lecture on the lab once per week
  • Grade lab reports
  • Hold office hours
  • Create and grade exams
  • Supervise and interact with teaching assistants for the course
  • Communicate with the department chair on the progress of the course
  • Upload and maintain course material on D2L
  • Assign grades to students and keep track of progress toward the course on D2L

Requirements

Ph.D. with twelve years of college teaching experience.

Qualifications

  • Concepts and experimental skills in electrical engineering at a master’s level or more: circuit design, operation of various measurement instruments for circuits, theoretical knowledge of circuits, transformers, digital logic, digital circuit design, analog circuit design, digital circuits.
