Essential Functions
- Delivers the established content of the course meeting all course objectives.
- Communicates with students via announcements, email, Canvas inbox/messaging.
- Actively teaches asynchronously by guiding course discussions (online courses) or synchronously in the classroom (on-ground courses).
- Conducts voluntary attendance online synchronous sessions (typically 2 per course) (online courses) or regular face-to-face synchronous class sessions (on-ground courses).
- Grades student work (which may include, but is not limited to assignments, quizzes, discussions, research papers, and projects) in a timely manner and in accordance with any established rubrics.
- Mets in person or virtually with students, as needed.
- Performs other duties related to the administration of the course (e.g., attendance verification).
Qualifications
- Doctor of Philosophy (PhD only) required with at least eighteen credit hours at the graduate level in Organizational Behavior & Leadership, or Philosophy & Ethics.
- Commitment to teaching excellence and service to the college, university, and community.
- Demonstrated Christian commitment and the ability to integrate faith into coursework.
