Supervisor, Slot Operations

Job Description

Under the direction of the Slot Shift Manager & Director, the incumbent assists Slot management in all phases of Slot Operations.

• Monitor daily jackpot and machine malfunctions transactions for accuracy and response time.
• Responsible for supervising Slot attendants on assigned shift within assigned section.
• Aids in training, counseling, scheduling and evaluating Slot attendants.
• Handles employee and customer complaints and disputes.
• Promotes positive customer service, safety, security and creates a friendly atmosphere.
• Ensures that Slot attendants work with cashiering personnel, security officers or other Hard Rock Hotel & Casino staff in regards to jackpot payouts, and exchange slips.
• Maintains IRS currency transaction reporting requirements.
• Safeguards against theft and ensures the security and integrity of all casino property.
• Reports developments that may affect the casino operation to the Slot Shift Manager or Assistant.
• Accountable for all issues and non-issued slot keys and equipment.
• Ensures compliance with all gaming regulations.
• Captivates and participates in Slot special event functions.
• Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times.
• Maintains a clean, safe hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
• Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• A High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Minimum one (1) year of Slot Attendant or Slot Technician experience preferred, or one (1) year of casino experience with previous experience as a Slot Floor Supervisor in a high volume casino environment.
• Must have a KEY license or be able to obtain one.
