Adjunct Lecturer - Health Information Technology
Essential Duties
- Create courses aligned with learning outcomes to enhance student engagement and critical thinking.
- Foster an inclusive learning environment that supports diverse students and promotes respectful dialogue.
- Evaluate student progress through various assessment methods and adjust instruction accordingly.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support the academic and professional development of students.
Qualifications
- A degree in Health Information Technology with RHIT/RHIA certification, preferably a bachelor’s degree.
- Experience with Blackboard Learning Management System.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse student body.
- Experience working with a diverse, multilingual student population is desirable.
Pay
Salary Range: $743 - $943/contact hour
The rate paid is in accordance with City Colleges approved salary scale.
