Job Responsibilities

Piedmont Technical College Continuing Education Division seeks to build a pool of qualified applicants for adjunct (temporary, part-time) positions to teach professional development and/or community/personal interest courses at the Lex D. Walters Campus and/or at one of the six county campuses in Laurens, Newberry, Edgefield, Saluda, Abbeville, and McCormick.

  • Courses in categories for professional development include supervisory and leadership development, MOS Application, and other specialized areas of professional development.
  • Courses in community/personal interest include, but are not limited to, creative arts, consumer education, culinary arts, driver education, languages, wellness, lifelong learning, and summer camps.
  • If unsure about the category, contact a member of the Workforce Innovation staff.

Minimum And Additional Requirements

Minimum requirements are dependent upon the area of instruction. Generally, applicants should hold a bachelor's degree, which may be substituted with equivalent work experience, certifications, and/or demonstrated expertise in a particular subject matter.
